HONEY OAT BRAN BISCUITS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. oat bran 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. shortening or oil 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. honey Cut shortening into dry ingredients until mixture resembles cornmeal. Add milk and honey; mix well. Knead mixture 6-8 times. Pat out dough to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Put on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes until brown. |
