HOMEMADE CHICKEN SOUP | |
3 whole chicken breasts 3 1/2 c. cold water 1 c. sliced carrots 1 c. sliced celery 1/2 med. onion, chopped fine 1/4 c. rice Salt and pepper to taste Combine chicken with the vegetables. Cover with the water and bring to a boil. Simmer 2 hours or more. Add rice, salt, and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes. Makes 10 servings. |
