BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch cubes (round steak can be used)
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt

Shake steak cubes in the above 3 items to coat. Brown in melted shortening. 1/2 c. chopped green pepper (or more) 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 cans tomato soup 1 can cut, sliced, mushrooms 1 pt. sour cream

Combine the above ingredients and pour over meat in electric skillet. Set electric skillet on warm (or just below simmer). Cover and cook for several hours (the longer the better) until meat is very tender. Stir frequently. Serve over rice or chow mein noodles. Can be made in very low oven. May be made the day before and heated before serving.
