ICEBOX COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped

Blend butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and flour which has been sifted with salt and baking powder. Mix well. Add vanilla and nuts. Roll out in log-shaped rolls about 1 inch in diameter. Refrigerate at least 24 hours or freeze. Slice off and bake as needed. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet.
