EASY DUMPLINGS 
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and mix. Drop by the spoonfuls into boiling stew or stock. Dip spoon first into hot mixture, then into dumpling batter. This makes batter slide easily off spoon. Cook 12 minutes in a tightly covered pot. Keep liquid steaming briskly. Do not peek while dumplings are cooking. Good for chicken or stews.
