MEXICAN TOSSED SALAD 
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. chili powder
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. vegetable oil
8 c. torn romaine lettuce
2 med. tomatoes, chopped
1 c. coarsely crushed tortilla chips
1 avocado, peeled & sliced
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese

Combine lemon juice, sugar, chili powder, garlic, cumin, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper; mix well. Add oil; mix well. Cover; chill. In large bowl combine remaining ingredients; toss with dressing. Refrigerate leftovers.
