HOMEMADE BISCUITS 
2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. Crisco
Sour milk

Leave milk out of refrigerator until sour. Sift flour, add shortening and enough milk to absorb mixture (should be sticky). Knead dough just enough to cover it with flour. Roll out dough and cut into biscuits. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 12 to 15 biscuits.
