OUR BIG MAMA'S COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. baking power
2 eggs
1 box light brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. plain flour

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs; then flour mixture. Last add nuts. Roll into rolls about 1 inch in diameter and about 10 inches long. Wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate or freeze. Slice thin and bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
