POTATO CASSEROLE (TEXAS TATERS) 
1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash browns
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Salt and pepper to taste
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/4 c. melted butter

Mix together hash browns, sour cream, 1/2 cup melted butter, cheese, onion, mushroom soup, salt and pepper. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan coated with vegetable spray. Top with crushed corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
