MICROWAVE CARAMEL KNAPPERS 
4 oz. pecan halves
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. butter
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 tbsp. milk

Make clusters of 3 pecans on buttered cookie sheet. Mix caramels, butter, milk in a glass bowl. Microwave 2 to 3 minutes until melted. Stir once. Cool until slightly thickened. Spoon a rounded spoonful on center of cluster of pecans. Cool until set (few minutes). Microwave chocolate chips in glass dish 1 1/2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Spoon a little chocolate on each candy and spread to cover caramel. Refrigerate until set. Makes 36 Knappers.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
