BUTTERMILK DROP ROLLS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1/4 c. warm water 1 tbsp. sugar 1/4 c. melted lard, grated 1 c. warm buttermilk 1 egg, beaten 3 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda Soften yeast in warm water. Stir into sugar, lard, milk, and eggs. Add dry ingredients, sifted together. Mix until smooth. Fill greased muffin pan about 1/2 full. Let rise 30 minutes in a warm place. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. |
