MILK CHOCOLATE WALNUT BARS | |
1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter, at room temperature 1 1/2 c. flour 1 egg 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips 1 c. chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine brown sugar, butter, and egg. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla. Press dough into 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Return to oven 1 minute. As soon as chips melt, spread evenly, then sprinkle nuts on top. Cool and slice. Yield: 4 dozen bars. |
