PEACH COBBLER 
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
5 c. sliced fresh peaches

BISCUIT TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
4 tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. cream or milk
2 tsp. grated orange rind

Set oven for very hot, 450 degrees. Bake 25 minutes. Makes 8 servings.

VARIATIONS: Pitted sweet cherries (Bing cherries); apricots; raspberries; blueberries; strawberries.
