JUMBO RAISIN COOKIES 
Add 1 cup water to 2 cups seedless raisins. Cook 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Beat well.

Add 1 teaspoon vanilla to cooled raisin mixture.

Sift together: 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. allspice

Add to raisin mixture and blend well. Add:

Chill dough. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
