HOT 'N CRUNCHY TUNA SALAD | |
1 pkg. Tuna Helper mix for noodles, cheese sauce 'n tuna 3 c. hot water 1/2 c. bottled French dressing 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 to 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 c. sliced carrots 1 c. sliced celery 2/3 c. sliced almonds 1 green pepper, cut into 2 inch strips 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, thawed, and drained 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained Mix noodles, sauce mix, and water in 10 inch skillet. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer (stirring occasionally) 10 minutes. Mix dressing, lemon juice, mustard, and paprika in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients and the noodle mixture. Serve immediately or, if desired, cover and refrigerate until chilled, at least 3 hours. 4 to 5 servings. |
