CHOCOLATE - FILLED COOKIES 
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
2 sticks butter, room temperature
2 c. flour

FILLING:

8 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 can condensed milk
1 c. chopped walnuts

DOUGH: Mix first 3 ingredients thoroughly. Divide into 8 equal parts. Chill dough overnight.

FILLING: Heat milk over double boiler hot enough to melt chocolate chips. Add nuts and keep warm.

Roll dough on waxed paper covered generously with confectioner's sugar (about 1/4 cup) into a 12 x 6 inch rectangle. Spread filling down center of rectangle in narrow strip. Roll ends over filling to make a log. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees until golden brown. Cool and slice on an angle to make 1 inch pieces. Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
