4 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs
4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour (White Lily)
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon

Pour into greased and slightly floured tube cake pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
