CANDY BRITTLE COOKIES | |
graham crackers 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup (2 sticks) butter 1 to 2 cup finely chopped pecans Cover bottom of cookie sheet with at least a 1/2-inch lip with regular graham crackers. In a saucepan mix brown sugar and butter. Bring to a boil. Simmer for at least 5 minutes. Add chopped pecans. Spread over crackers on cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Do not overbake! Cut while still warm. Tip: A pizza cutter does a good job. Try to find the edges of the crackers first. Submitted by: Lillie |
