BROILED PARMESAN POTATOES 
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. dried crushed basil
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper

2 med. potatoes, bias sliced, thin
1/4 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Stir together butter, basil, paprika, garlic powder, and pepper.

Place potatoes in a single layer on the unheated rack of a broiler pan.

Brush butter mixture over both sides of potato slices.

Broil about 5 inches from the heat for 8 to 9 minutes or until potatoes begin to turn brown.

Using a wide spatula, turn potatoes.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Broil for 4 to 6 minutes more until tender.

Serves 4.
