PEPPER STEAK AND GRAVY 
1 whole bell pepper
1 whole onion
1 can or jar of brown gravy
3 tbsp. mushrooms from a jar
1 pkg. round steak (about 1 lb.)
Salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste

Cut strips of meat, about 1 inch by 1/2 inch. Tenderize with tenderizer and cook over medium heat until tender. Cut peppers and onions in small squares and put into pan with meat, mushrooms and spices. Saute until vegetables are somewhat tender. Add gray and simmer until meat is tender to eat. Serve over rice.

Am thinking it would be better (after cutting meat into strips) - to put this in crockpot... once meat IS tender then remove - place in skillet and continue on with recipe.
