BAKLAVA 
4 lbs. walnuts
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 stick sweet butter
Phyllo dough

Chop nuts fine, add sugar and cinnamon. Place 2-3 phyllo dough leaves in 12x15 inch pan. Spread nut mixture. Sprinkle melted sweet butter on mixture. Add 4-5 leaves of phyllo dough. Continue adding nuts and butter. Leave 8-10 leaves for top.

Using pastry brush, brush top of phyllo dough with melted butter. With sharp knife, cut through top layer on long side, make diagonal cuts at 1 1/2 inch intervals. Then starting at 1 corner make 9 cuts on diagonal to form diamond. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees or until golden. Let cool, then slowly spoon syrup over Baklava.

SYRUP:

3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. honey
2 inches cinnamon stick

Boil approximately 15 minutes. Cool, then slowly spoon over Baklava.
