HYDROX COOKIE DESSERT 
1/2 lb. Hydrox cookies, crushed
1 pt. whipping cream
1 pkg. cherry jello
1/2 c. boiling water
3 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Dissolve jello in boiling water; cool. Beat egg whites stiff and add sugar, beating constantly. Whip cream. By hand, beat cream, egg whites, jello and vanilla together.

Sprinkle half of cookie crumbs on buttered pan (9x13); press down slightly. Spoon jello mixture on top. Add remaining cookie crumbs. Let stand overnight or for several hours.
