CHOCOLATE PECAN CAKE BROWNIES 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix sugar and flour. Bring butter, cocoa and water to boil and add to flour mixture. Then add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, and soda; mix well.

Pour into 10x6 pan or 11x17 jelly roll pan. Bake 15-20 minutes or until done.

FROSTING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring cocoa, butter and milk to a boil, then add other ingredients until spreading consistency. Spread on cake immediately upon removal from oven.
