1/4 lb. butter 2/3 c. sugar 3 eggs 2 c. pulp 1 sweet potato, grated 3 c. milk 3 c. plain flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 tsp. cinnamon SYRUP: 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. sugar Melt butter in pan the pudding will be baked in. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Proceed with pudding as for mixing a cake. Boil syrup of water and sugar. As soon as the pudding is taken out of oven, pour the syrup over the whole pudding. |
