4 squares Baker's chocolate
1 c. water
1/4 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
Marshmallow creme
Nuts
Fudge

Melt together chocolate, water, butter and sugar. Let cool. Sift flour. Gradually add above mixture. Drop in eggs. Add baking soda dissolved in buttermilk.

Bake slowly in loaf pan. Spread with marshmallow creme and cover with nuts and fudge.

FUDGE:

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. cocoa
1/4 lb. butter
Pinch salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

When mixture begins a full boil, boil hard for 1 minute. Cool.
