CABBAGE CURRY 
1 med. head green cabbage
1 sm. onion, sliced
Pinch of each: ginger, garlic salt, ground turmeric
Salt to taste
1/4 c. cooking oil
1/4 c. water

Cut cabbage into small thin slices. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and steam over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 25-30 minutes, or until cabbage has the consistency of thick stew. Makes 4 servings.
