BUSY DAY OVEN STEW 
2 lbs. beef, cubed
1 can small peas
1 lg. potato, sliced
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 c. sliced carrots
2 med. onions, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1/2 can water

Combine all ingredients in casserole. Cover with tight lid. Heat in 275 degree oven for five hours. Serves 4 to 5. Vary with mushroom or celery soup, or substitute corn for peas. Wonderful on a cold day!
