HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 lg. can V-8 juice
3 c. potatoes, cubed
6 c. water, boiling
2 tbsp. salt (or more to taste)
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
3 med. carrots, diced
1 c. celery, chopped
2 tbsp. pepper
2 c. cauliflower, chopped

Bring water to a boil, add carrots and celery and continue cooking 15 minutes. Meanwhile brown hamburger, and reserve for later. Add remaining ingredients to carrots and celery; cook an additional 30 minutes. Add hamburger and continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
