DRUNKEN MEATBALLS 
1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
Garlic powder, to suit taste
1/2 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix or 1 lg. onion
1 (14 oz.) bottle Brooks catsup
1/4 c. water
1 (12 oz.) can beer
Salt and pepper

Form ground chuck, garlic powder, and onion into cocktail size meatballs.

Heat the beer, catsup, and water in a covered pan or baking dish and drop meatballs in. Simmer slowly for 1 hour (covered). Serves 12-15 people.

To serve 40, use 3 pounds of meat and increase beer to 20 ounces. Other measure can stay the same.
