APPLESAUCE-PECAN BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. raisins
1 egg, beaten
1 c. applesauce
1/4 c. oil

Combine first 7 ingredients in large bowl; stir in pecans and raisins. Make well in center. Combine egg, applesauce and oil; add to dry mixture, stirring just until moistened.

Spoon into greased and floured 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until pick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to rack to cool. Makes 1 loaf.
