CHOCOLATE FUDGE | |
2 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. Carnation milk 9 regular marshmallows Few grains salt 8 oz. pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips 1 c. chopped pecans 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix in a heavy 2 quart pan the sugar, butter, milk, marshmallows, and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil, boil for 3 to 5 minutes. I use candy thermometer, let it get to 240 degrees. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips, pecans and vanilla. Spread in 8" buttered dish. Cool and cut into squares. |
