1/2 c. butter or melted butter (I use less)
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 c. Swiss cheese or Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. bacon or ham
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. Bisquick

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients and pour into greased 9 inch pie plate and bake 45 minutes. Let set 10 minutes after removing from oven before serving.

Variation: 1 (6 ounce) crab - add 1/4 cup mayonnaise (I make this instead of bacon or ham).
