CHERRY COCONUT MACAROONS 
4 egg whites
Salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 c. coconut
Walnuts and cherries

Add salt and cream of tartar to egg whites. Beat until foamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Beat until real stiff. Fold in nuts and cherries. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees.
