CREAMED BROCCOLI SOUP 
10 oz. pkg. chopped frozen broccoli
3 c. clear chicken broth (2 cans)
1 med. onion, chopped
3-3 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
4-6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1 carton half & half
Salt, black pepper to taste
Small amount red pepper

Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter (not listed above). Add chicken broth, broccoli and parsley. Cover and cook until tender. Melt butter and blend in cornstarch. Add to above and stir until smooth. Simmer until thickened. Add half and half to desired consistency. Garnish with paprika or a sprig of parsley.
