1 c. sugar
2 sticks soft butter
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp. water
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and spread real thin on buttered cookie sheet. Brush top with slightly beaten egg white. Sprinkle top with chopped pecans. Bake at 300 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cut 1x3 inch sticks while hot and cool in pan.
