CHILI RELLENO PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 garlic clove, minced
Salt & pepper
1 (7 oz.) can green chilies
1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. half and half
1 tbsp. flour
8 oz. tomato sauce

Brown meat with pepper, onion, garlic, salt and pepper and oregano. Seed chili peppers and spread on bottom of a greased baking dish. Cover with browned meat. Sprinkle with cheeses. Combine eggs, half and half and flour and pour over the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Pour tomato sauce on top and bake for 10 more minutes. Serves 4.
