CHILI CON CARNE 
2 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. garlic or 1 clove
2 tbsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 (28 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
1 tall can red kidney beans
1 (28 oz.) can tomato puree

Heat skillet and brown beef, then drain fat. Add seasoning. Place beef in crock pot and add rest of ingredients. Stir well. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours, high for 4 to 5 hours, or automatic 6 to 7 hours.
