THICK CHOCOLATE FROSTING | |
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted (I like to use Ghirardelli chips) 1/2 cup whipping cream 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt Beat butter on medium speed with an electric mixer until nice and creamy; Slowly add sugar, alternating the melted chocolate and whipping cream. Beat on low speed after each addition until well blended. Add vanilla and salt and blend. Yield: 3 1/2 cups frosting. Submitted by: Margaret Comer |
