1 box white cake mix
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. salt
2 whole eggs
1 1/3 c. milk
1/8 tsp. butter flavoring, if desired

Mix together. Bake in jelly roll or sheet pan. Grease and flour on the bottom of the pan.

ICING:

For coloring and also to use for decorating.

1 lb. 10X sugar, sifted
1/2-3/4 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. butter flavoring
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. very hot water

Spread a thin layer on cake. Let stand a few minutes then spread on the cover. To make decoration tint with desired food color. Keep used icing covered so it won't dry out.
