RITZ DESSERT 
16 Ritz crackers
1 c. chopped pecans
3 egg whites
1 c. sugartsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped with sugar & vanilla flavoring to taste

Combine chopped nuts and crackers which have been finely crumbled. Use rolling pin for the crackers. Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar. Fold nut mixture into the egg whites. Add vanilla. Pour into 9 inch pie pan and bake in slow oven (300 degrees) for about 40 minutes until golden brown. This will look like a meringue. Cool and place in refrigerator. Top with the sweetened whipped cream or your favorite ice cream.
