NUT ROLL 
1 recipe pie crust
1 c. cinnamon - sugar mixture
1 c. chopped nuts
butter

Prepare pie crust as for pie. Divide into 5 sections. Roll out each. Sprinkle with cinnamon - sugar mixture; sprinkle with nuts and dot with butter. Roll up as you would a jelly roll and place the rolls on a cookie sheet an inch or two apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes until crust is light brown. To serve, cut in 1 1/2 inch pieces.

Note: Other fillings can be used such as sesame seeds and jelly; or chopped apples, raisins and cinnamon; or poppy seeds; or chopped dates.
