SAND TARTS 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar (sifted)
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Stir in flour, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls and bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
