NOODLE DUMPLINGS 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Beat all ingredients together until smooth. Bring lightly salted water to boil in a 3 quart saucepan. Dip tableknife in boiling water and then tipping the bowl of batter slightly slice off about 1/2 inch of batter, allowing it to drop into boiling water. Continue dipping knife in hot water and slicing off batter until it is all used up. Lower heat and continue to cook noodles for about 5 minutes, noodles will rise to top of water when they are done. This is enough noodles for two. You may want to double recipe.

Serve with soups or stews or just buttered with Parmesan cheese.
