WARM MIXED FRUIT COMPOTE 
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. mixed dried fruit
1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
2 c. apple juice
2 tbsp. butter

Heat oven to 325 degrees. In 2 quart casserole, combine dried fruit and lemon slices. In small saucepan, combine remaining ingredients; heat mixture until hot. Pour over fruits; cover. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, stirring mixture halfway through baking. Yield: 8 (1/2 cup) servings.
