FAVORITE APPLE PIE 
5 green apples, peeled & sliced
1 pie shell
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
5 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. water

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 stick butter

Place apples in pie shell. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients. TOPPING: Combine all ingredients to make a crumbly mixture, drop on top of pie. Place pie in late paper bag and paper clip to bind air tight. Bake 1 hour at 425 degrees.
