CORNBREAD CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. cornbread mix 1 can cream corn 1 can Rotel tomatoes 2 lbs. ground beef 1 pkg. shredded cheese 1 1/2 onion soup mix Mix cornbread according to directions; minus 2 tablespoons of liquid. Add 1 can of cream corn; set aside. Brown ground beef; drain and add Rotel tomatoes and onion soup mix. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes; set aside. Put 1/3 of cornbread mixture in baking dish, 1/2 of meat mixture on top. Sprinkle cheese on top of meat mixture (as much cheese as you want). Another layer of corn bread mixture on top. Put other half of meat mixture on top, add the rest of cheese on top. Cover it with the final 3rd of cornbread mix. Bake, following directions on cornbread package. |
