BARBECUE SAUCE FOR SPARERIBS 
1 medium chopped onion
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. catsup or more
1/2 tbsp. mustard
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 to 1 c. water
dash of salt

Brown chopped onion in oil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer sauce for 30 minutes.

Bake meat in 350°F oven, covered, for 2 hours. Spoon sauce over.

Bake 1 hour at 400°F uncovered. Baste sauce over 1 or 2 times while baking.
