STRAWBERRY-ORANGE JAM 
2 oranges
4 c. strawberries
7 c. sugar
1/2 bottle liquid pectin

Cut unpeeled oranges into very thin wedges. Remove ends and seeds as necessary. Put in saucepan, cover with water and boil 15 minutes. Drain and repeat with fresh water. Drain thoroughly and chop or dice. Combine oranges and crushed berries in a large saucepan. Add sugar and mix well. Place over high heat, bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in pectin immediately. Stir and skim for 5 minutes to cool slightly and prevent floating fruit. Ladle into hot sterilized jars and seal immediately with hot paraffin.
