BEST EVER PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
2 c. quick oats
1 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. creamy or chunk peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

In small bowl stir oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat butter and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in sugars until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture; beat until well blended. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely on wire rack. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 6 dozen.
