1 German chocolate cake mix 1/3 c. evaporated milk 3/4 c. melted butter 1 c. chopped pecans Mix above ingredients and pat half of the batter into a 9x13 inch pan (save the other half). Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips over top of pre-baked batter. Mix one 14 ounce bag of caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk and melt in microwave for 3 minutes. Pour over chocolate chips. Dot remainder of batter on chop. Bake 18-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool; refrigerate 30 minutes to set caramels. Cut into bars. |
